Q. How much does it cost to start a Hippo Franchise?

A. The cost of starting is approx $35,000 and includes a trailer, uniforms, stationary, training, and support. We will be providing the majority of your leads.

Q. How much is the fee for continuing support services?

A. The "royalty fee," is 6% of your gross sales and is paid weekly. This fee entitles you to use the "Hippo®" service mark, use of distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being Hippo franchise. There is also a 2% advertising contribution that is directly reinvested into the advertising budget.

Q. What will be my territory?

A. We will grant you a territory (called an "area of primary responsibility" or "area"), defined by zip codes or other physical, political or natural boundaries.

Q. How much training is provided?

A. The initial training covers all material aspects of the operation of Hippo franchise and is comprised of classroom and on-the-job training.

Q. What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?

A. The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for three successive terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
